More space for logistics!
The second construction phase of the shared-use logistics centre at Garbe Industrial Real Estate Park! The 20,800 m2 building is the second logistics facility that we have constructed for DB-Schenker at Garbe Industrial Real Estate Park Westfalenhütte in Dortmund.
The new development, in which we have invested around €16m, is directly adjacent to the existing shared-use logistics centre that was handed over to DB Schenker in early 2014. It is situated on a 450,000 m2 redevelopment site to the north of Dortmund.

In order to increase the floor space of Schenker Deutschland AG’s existing shared-use logistics centre by 20,000 m², a new building was constructed directly adjacent to the old one.
The exterior walls of a logistics property can serve as an indication of what goes on inside. Splashes of bright colour provide inspiration and rhythm.
